LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock Police Department is investigating an early Saturday morning shooting that left two dead and two others hospitalized.
On April 4, 2020, just before 2 a.m., the Lubbock Police Department was dispatched to the shooting in the 2100 block of 49th Street.
There, police officers located four victims.
17-year-old Mia Altamirano and 20-year-old Michael Bean were pronounced deceased at the scene, according to police.
The two other victims were transported to University Medical Center with serious and life-threatening injuries.
"No arrests have been made at this time,' stated the Lubbock Police Department in their last update on Saturday morning. "This case remains under investigation by the Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit."
