HOUSTON, Texas — Two men were seriously injured after being shot while driving in their car in the early morning hours Saturday.
According to Harris County Sheriff's Captain John Shannon, the two adult males were shot by someone in another vehicle.
Circumstances or details on what led to the shooting were not released, as the investigation was in its early stages and the scene remained active.
Shannon says both men were transported to local hospitals in serious but stable condition.
The shooting occurred in the 5800 block of Etheline Street, which is in the northeast Houston area in unincorporated Harris County. The intersection of Etheline Street and Homestead Road will be closed as police investigate.
