MONTGOMERY, Texas — A $23.75 million Lotto Texas jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Montgomery, Texas, according to the Texas Lottery.
The ticket matched all six numbers of the September 25, 2019, drawing (5-9-26-38-41-44) and was purchased at the Murphy USA 6916 located at 18702 Highway 105 in Montgomery.
The cash value option was selected at the time of the ticket purchase and the claimant will receive $18,067,668.07.
“It’s been a very exciting week for Texas Lottery players,” stated Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery. “A day after having a Mega Millions jackpot winner in the state of Texas, we are thrilled to now have our largest Lotto Texas jackpot winner of the year. If you have the winning ticket, we encourage you to sign the ticket, put it in a safe place, seek financial and legal advice, and call the Texas Lottery before coming to Austin to claim the prize. The prize has not yet been claimed. The winner has 180 days from the draw date to claim the prize.

The winning Lotto Texas jackpot started as an advertised $5 million prize for the drawing on May 8 and rolled 40 times before being hit. In addition to the jackpot-winning prize, 54,876 Lotto Texas tickets, including those with the Extra! add-on feature, won lower-tier prizes ranging from $11,547 to $2 for the same drawing. The jackpot for the next Lotto Texas drawing on Saturday, Sept. 28, will reset to $5 million.
Lotto Texas is played by picking six numbers from one to 54 and offers multimillion-dollar jackpots. Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:12 p.m. CT. For $1 more per play, a player can select the Extra! add-on feature and win up to $10,000 more on non-jackpot prizes.
