FORT WORTH, Texas — A Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitive and Bloods gang member was arrested in Fort Worth last week.
25-year-old Tieon Lashad Legan, affiliated with the Bloods gang, was taken into custody on June 1, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas, by members of the Texas Department of Public Safety's Criminal Investigation Division and the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities were working off tip information when the located and arrested Legan at a Fort Worth apartment complex.
Legan had been wanted since May 2020, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a Parole Violation warrant for his arrest. Additional warrants were issued for Legan's arrest in July 2020 by the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office charging Legan with unlawful possession of a firearm by felon and possession of marijuana.
Legan was previously sentenced, in 2015, to 7 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice after he was convicted in Tarrant County on three counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. His criminal history also includes charges for burglary of a habitation and evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.
"The arrest was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers and a reward will be paid," according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
