TARRANT COUNTY, Texas — The Tarrant County Sheriff's Office is seeking an alleged murder suspect in connection with a March 3, 2020, shooting at a Haslet, Texas, business that ended in tragedy.

Police say 23-year-old Atiyeh Symone Chatmon and 23-year-old Michael Sherrod Walker ended their relationship this past weekend when they began to verbally argue over a phone call. It was then, that police say Walker showed up to Chatmon's place of work and continued to argument.

"That argument escalated into the suspect pulling a firearm and shooting Ms. Chatmon in the chest, then fleeing the scene," read a statement from the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office.

The argument and shooting occurred at approximately 5:48 p.m., on March 3, 2020, in the 1900 block of Golden Heights Road in Haslet, Texas.

Walker, according to police, is to be considered armed and dangerous.

"We will find him, and we will bring him to justice," stated Tarrant County Sheriff Bill E Waybourne.

"Do not attempt to approach this individual on your own," read a statement from the department.
