DALLAS, Texas — A 19-year-old Dallas man is facing multiple aggravated robbery charges after police say he robbed six Dallas-area businesses at gunpoint in 50 minutes last week.

On June 9, 2022, beginning at approximately 8:51 a.m., Dallas police say 19-year-old Joshua Mora hit his first robbery location, the Exxon at 8302 Abrams.

Subsequent robberies were reported at 8:54 a.m. at Walgreens located at 8310 Abrams; at 9:15 a.m. at EZ Shop located at 8240 Abrams; at 9:24 a.m. at 7-11 located at 6769 Abrams; 1t 9:30 a.m. at 710 Vapers located at 6751 Abrams; and at 9:42 a.m. at QuikTrip located at 6060 Skillman.

At one of the locations, Dallas Police were able to obtain a suspect description, vehicle description, and a possible license plate number.

Shortly after the last robbery, the Crime Response Team and Deployment officers spotted the suspect and the suspect vehicle. After a brief chase, the driver and only occupant in the car, Mora, was taken into custody.

Mora matched the description of the robbery suspect and a firearm was recovered in the vehicle. A preliminary investigation determined Mora committed the robberies, according to the Dallas Police Department.

There are no reports of any victims injured at this time.

Mora was charged with six counts of Aggravated Robbery and booked into to Dallas County Jail.
