DALLAS, Texas — A man was shot to death in his SUV outside of a Dallas apartment late Monday night, according to police.

At approximately 11:04 p.m., on Monday, September 7, 2020, the Dallas Police Department responded to a shooting call at the French Colony Apartments located at 1235 Hartsdale Drive.

There, police discovered the unidentified victim inside a white Jeep Cherokee, unresponsive, with multiple gunshot wounds.He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Because the victim did not have an identification card on his person at the time of his death, the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office will attempt to identify the man through fingerprint analysis.
