NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas — One person was killed and another was critically injured in a head-on collision in North Richland Hills on Monday night.

Just before 6 p.m., on Monday, October 7, 2019, the North Richland Hills Police Department received a 911 call about a four-vehicle collision in the 6900 block of Davis Boulevard near Odell Street.

Police say a GMC Yukon was traveling north on Davis Boulevard when it drove into oncoming traffic and struck a Chevrolet pickup truck towing a trailer, head on — which sent the vehicles spinning into the northbound lanes.

The adult female driver of the Yukon was transported by ambulance to an area hospital in serious condition.

The driver of the Chevrolet pikcup truck was airlifted to an area hospital with critical injuries. The passenger was extricated from the vehicle with critical injuries, transported to an area hospital, and pronounced deceased.

A Honda sedan struck the Chevrolet's trailer and the driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital. A fourth vehicle, a Nissan sedan, struck the debris and none of its occupants reported injuries.

"It is unclear whether any charges are expected to be filed at this time," stated the North Richland Hills Police Department in a statement on Monday night.

Police have not released the identity of the deceased individual.
