WISE COUNTY, Texas — Approximately $1 million in THC products were discovered during a North Texas traffic stop earlier this month.
A Wise County Sheriff's Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on an SUV and observed boxes stacked in the SUV's cargo area.
When questioned, according to Wise County Sheriff Lane Akin, the driver admitted to having a "joint" and nothing more. A nearby K-9 unit responded and alerted on the boxes.
Upon inspection, the deputy discovered more than 330 pounds of THC products valued at approximately $1 million.
"We value our canine partners," stated Akin. "They know nothing but truth, and they disdain deception."
