GARLAND, Texas — A Garland woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash southwest of Fort Worth on Monday afternoon, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Citing preliminary crash investigation, the Texas Department of Public Safety says 22-year-old Meagan Lee of Garland, Texas, was traveling southbound on State Highway 171, just north of Creeson, Texas.

Troopers say Lee lost traction on the wet roads, began to skid, crossed the center line of the highway, and collided with a Mack truck-tractor and trailer.

Lee was ejected from her vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene.
