FORT WORTH, Texas — The dismembered bodies of a man, female of unknown age, and a child were discovered in a burning dumpster behind a Fort Worth business on Wednesday morning.
The discovery was made while members of the Fort Worth Fire Department were extinguishing the blaze, located at a business in the 3100 block of Bonnie Drive, just after 6:17 a.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
"The bodies appeared to be that of an unknown child, a young teenage or adult female, and an adult male," according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
Police say the bodies had been dismembered, with some body parts unaccounted for, and then burned in the dumpster — the condition of which is making the identification process difficult.
The adult male was tentatively identified by police as 42-year-old David Lueras, who is known to frequent the Dallas area and has some ties to the Hurst, Euless, and Bedford areas.
"Identifying the perpetrators and suspects of this triple murder is the primary goal of this investigation," read a statement from the Fort Worth Police Department. "The Fort Worth Police Department's Homicide Unit is requesting public assistance in this investigation; any information related to a missing person or persons fitting the description of the victims is appreciated."
