DALLAS, Texas — The Dallas Police Department is seeking assistance from the public locating an alleged suspect in a Sunday shooting that killed one person and injured another.
At approximately 4:14 p.m., on December 12, 2021, the Dallas Police Department responded to the 5700 block of South Hampton Boulevard at its intersection with Marvin D. Love.
There, police officers located 21-year-old Joshua Robinson and two witnesses. Robinson had been shot, was transported to an area hospital, and pronounced deceased.
One of the witnesses was also shot, transported to the hospital, treated, and released.
"Detectives have identified a possible suspect in this murder," read a statement from the Dallas Police Department. "The suspect is believed to be Darius Owens a 23-year-old Black male, approximately 300 pounds with low cut hair, and is driving a late model white Ford Fusion with factory trim."
