DALLAS, Texas — The Dallas Police Department is investigating an animal cruelty case after a dog was found with a gunshot wound last month.
Police released an image of the dog today, a 6-month-old female, black and brown, medium-sized dog.
The dog was initially found on November 12, 2021, in the 100 block of South Murdeaux Lane in Dallas.
"During the intake exam, the dog was found to have an injury from a gunshot," read a statement from the Dallas Police Department. "The dog received vet care and is expected to make a full recovery."
