DALLAS, Texas — Members of the Dallas Police Department's Vice Unit and SWAT team executed search warrants at three alleged illegal gambling locations, the department announced.
After receiving numerous complaints, undercover detectives were able to develop probable cause at the three locations to secure search warrants, according to the Dallas Police Department.
At noon, earlier today, police officers raided the Top Mart convenience store at 7047 Bruton Road and seized five gambling machines and $35,619.
Another search warrant was executed today at Brother's Tobacco at 2231 West Ledbetter Drive where 28 gambling machines, a handgun, and $295 was seized
On Wednesday, a search warrant was executed at 2475 South Cockrell Hill Road Suite 100 where 14 gambling machines, one firearm, and $4,845 was seized.
In their announcement on Friday night, police did not state if any arrests or charges were filed in connection with the investigations.
