SAGINAW, Texas — An 18-year-old Saginaw man was arrested and charged with murder in his father's death, according to the Saginaw Police Department.
On Saturday, August 22, 2020, at approximately 5:46 p.m., the Saginaw Police Department responded to an unresponsive person call at a residence in the 300 block of Parkview Drive.
Upon arrival, officers located a 52-year-old male, identified by police as Steven Beevers, deceased in a bedroom of the residence.
"Investigators noted signs of trauma to the deceased person," read a statement from the Saginaw Police Department.
After an investigation, police say they obtained and executed an arrest warrant for Beevers' son, 18-year-old David Beevers.
David Beevers was arrested on August 24, 2020, without incident, and booked into the Tarrant County Jail on the murder charge. His bond was set at $75,000.
Police did not release additional details, citing an ongoing investigation.
