ADDISON, Texas — Police in North Texas released a composite sketch on Monday in an effort to identify a man who they say may have information in connection with a homicide investigation.
Addison police say the homicide occurred on July 1, 2019, at the Communities of Bent Tree Apartments in the 4800 block of Westgrove Drive. There, 82-year-old Joan Mulcahy was found deceased in her wheelchair in an apartment breezeway.
Police described the man in the sketch as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 5'8" to 6', black or brown wavy hair, and is estimated to be in his early 20s. He was last seen wearing a dark, long-sleeved shirt and khaki pants.
Police have not gone so far as to say the man in the sketch is a person of interest or suspect in the case, only that they believe he has information in connection with the investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Addison Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division at (972) 450-7169.
"At this point in the investigation, Addison Police does not believe there is any cause for concern for the general public," stated the department on Monday.
