CARROLLTON, Texas — No injuries were reported after a golf course's range netting and poles collapsed onto an adjacent apartment complex amid storms in Carrollton, Texas, on Sunday afternoon.
Several poles and range netting at the Marsh Lane Golf Center, in the 2300 block of Marsh Lane, collapsed onto adjacent apartments, parking structures, and vehicles at the Branch Creek Apartments.
The Carrollton Fire Department says no injuries were reported in the incident.
In March, the course closed for approximately a month due to reported storm damage to one of the facilities 100-foot poles. The pole was replaced and the course reopened on April 17, 2019.
It will be several hours as crews work to clean up the latest incident. No word on how long the course will remain closed.
