AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department's Robbery Unit is working in conjunction with the FBI's Central Texas Violent Crime Task Force to track down a man who robbed a Wells Fargo on Wednesday.

At approximately 12:47 p.m., on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, police say the man entered the Wells Fargo bank, located inside the Fiesta Mart at 3909 North Interstate Highway 35, displayed a note to the teller, and left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen running towards 38 1/2 Street.

No injuries were reported during the robbery.

The suspect is described by police as being a black male, approximately 5'9", 150 pounds, a thin build, and mid-20s to 30s. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, black shirt, and blue jeans.
